This subspecies of the Kraken bio-ships that range ahead of Hive Fleets as scouts has dozens of strong tentacles. These tentacles lash onto enemy vessels in an inescapable grip, allowing the Kraken to grind through the hull. Doomrippers have been known to crush enemy hulls, even in their death throws.
